Last month Constructive Conversations discussed the necessary steps Pecora is taking to ensure a safe environment for employees, customers, distributors, and carriers. This included applying a 24-hour bacteria/virus disinfectant on all touchpoints throughout the offices and warehouse, and all common surfaces cleaned at the start of each day. Like Pecora, many businesses around the country are utilizing cleaning agents in their facilities to protect employees.
Pecora joint sealants are routinely applied in interior applications. These sealants are subjected to periodic cleanings, even more now, involving various cleaning agents, degreasers, sanitizers, disinfectants, and detergents. Application locations include, but are not limited to, laboratories, cafeterias, cleanrooms, lavatories, food processing facilities, hospitals, etc. To ensure the joint sealants are compatible and acceptable for use in areas exposed to these chemicals, it is important for the applicator and sealant manufacturer to work together for a solution.
